What changes the price

Number of photos

Photo count is the biggest factor. A small condo may only need 10 to 15 photos, while a 3,000-square-foot house typically needs 25 or more. Choose the count when you book and you will see the total before you confirm.

Add-ons

A floor plan, video or 3D tour changes the total. Bundles like Sapphire, Platinum and Diamond save money compared with booking each piece separately.

Size of the home

Homes over about 5,000 square feet move into luxury pricing, which includes more coverage.

Rush delivery

Photos are delivered in 24 hours or less at no extra charge. Same-day photo delivery is $20 for listings that need to go live fast.

Cancellations

Rescheduling is free. Canceling less than 12 hours before a shoot has a $25 fee.

What to compare when you get quotes

  1. Is drone included? Here it is free with every package; some photographers charge extra.
  2. Is a travel fee added? Ask whether the price covers your address.
  3. What is the turnaround? Ours is 24 hours or less for photos and 24 to 48 hours for video.
  4. How many photos are included? A low price for 10 photos is not comparable to 25.
  5. Can you use the photos on the MLS, social media and your website? Check the usage terms.
  6. Is the photographer licensed to fly drones commercially? FAA Part 107 is required for commercial drone work.

Is it worth paying for professional photos?

Most buyers see a listing online before they ever visit, so the photos are the first showing. Professional photography is a small cost compared with the sale price, and it is one of the few parts of a listing an agent fully controls. For homes where the exterior or views matter, drone photos and a twilight image add real impact.

Why prices differ between photographers

Two quotes for the same house can differ for good reasons. Some photographers charge a separate fee for drone photos, and some add a travel fee outside their home city. Some include only 10 to 15 photos in the base price, which is not the same product as a 25-photo package. Turnaround matters too: a photographer who takes several days to deliver can cost you a week of listing exposure. When you compare, put the quotes on the same footing: the same number of photos, drone included or not, travel included or not, and the same delivery time.

Ways to keep the cost down

  • Prepare the home well. A clean, decluttered home photographs faster and needs less retouching. Send sellers our free home prep checklist.
  • Choose the right photo count. A small condo does not need 40 photos, and a large home should not be limited to 10.
  • Bundle instead of adding one piece at a time. Sapphire, Platinum and Diamond cost less than buying each piece separately.
  • Reschedule instead of canceling. Rescheduling is free, while canceling less than 12 hours before a shoot has a $25 fee.
  • Refer a colleague. Referral credits are $40 for each agent you refer.

Example budgets

  • Starter condo: 10 to 15 photos, from $129 for 5 photos plus extras.
  • Typical Denver home: Ruby at $209.
  • Home with a layout buyers will compare: Sapphire at $264.
  • A standout launch: Platinum at $549.
  • The works: Diamond at $699.

The bottom line

For most Denver listings, plan on $209 to $264 for a full photo set with drone, and more if you add video, twilights or a 3D tour. Packages start at $129. See the pricing page for the full list, or book online and see your total before you confirm.
